FUEL LIKE A FEMALE
Fuel Like A Female is a persuasive campaign encouraging Gen Z females to fuel and train to steward their purposefully designed female physiology. Stemming from a personal story of challenges and growth, this campaign not only paints a personal passion, but it integrates relevant and effective advertising to call young women higher by urging them to go against the mainstream culture of demanding health trends. For this project, 3 other creatives and I designed a brand style guide, 3 advertisements, a social media campaign, and produced in-house photography.

FORRESTS BEST
Forrests Best is a packaging series inspired by the life of one of the world’s most beloved characters, Forrest Gump. Prompted to develop packaging and graphics for a series of related products and produce full prototypes appearing retail-ready, I decided to develop a shrimp seasoning line. I conducted extensive research on Forrest Gump’s character to tailor this project completely to who he is. Although all three seasonings fit together by a design that extends across all of the packages, each seasoning has a unique attribute of Forrest Gump’s story. The packages feature a hand-lettered logo, hand-drawn illustrations, and a piece of personal heartfelt passion for the nostalgic nature of the project.

HONEY
HOOLIGAN
Honey Hooligan is a conceptual branding project that required my partner, Olivia Tadlock, and I to tailor a honey brand to a mock design brief for our mock client, Roxie Delarosa. Through extensive research informing our design decisions, Olivia and I developed a logo and brand identity, hand-drawn patterns, social media content, product packaging, and a marketing campaign for Honey Hooligan. Our goal was to bring the brand to life by showcasing Roxie’s spunky personality and intense passion through our brand visuals.

MERCY CHEFS
This group project required partners Olivia Tadlock, Ben Himaya, and me to design a conceptual full rebrand for the nonprofit, Mercy Chefs. In the course of a few weeks, we were challenged with developing a new brand strategy and identity for this faith-based disaster relief program. The goal of the full rebrand was to enhance the brand as a whole by offering an entirely new logo direction, typefaces, color palette, brand elements, social media approach, and collateral. Mercy Chef’s mission of “just go feed people” is valuable, so we strengthened it by taking a more modernized approach to the full rebrand to meet a wider variety of audiences and improve brand awareness. To give the logo a deeper meaning, we pulled from the Biblical account of Jesus feeding the 5,000 with loaves and fish; this creates a more conceptual design and ultimately points people to the heart behind their mission.

HOMESTEAD
This project required me to develop my own brand while abstaining from cliches. Given the option to focus my project on a coffee shop, burger joint, or ice cream shop, I chose a coffee shop. To do this, I tied in attributes from my hometown and personal life and crafted a brand strategy, logo, icons, style guide, and merchandise for a hunting lounge coffee shop. Through leaning into hunter demographic research, nostalgia from personal memories, and hand-drawn illustrations, I created a brand that compels viewers to “sip on the wild side”.

BRISTLES & BEES
This typography and branding project required me to craft my own brand identity with a focus on developing my own typography for the logo. I used a real life example for my inspiration for this project and based it on my uncle, who had been wanting to start a honey business.

ECHOS OF NALU
This project tasked us with creating a conceptual museum exhibit about a unique topic. We chose to center our project around Hawaiian surf culture, how it evolved into a competitive sport, and the historical evolution of the surfboard. My partner, Abigail Wanaselja, and I designed a brand identity package, an entrance to the exhibit, two interior walls, and two exterior walls. We fashioned an immersive piece of narrative literature that acts as a surf shaper’s journal of old surfboard sketches, which shows the evolution of the surfboard. We hand-bound and constructed the journal, and also designed a surfing poster that tucks into the back pocket of the journal.

ASK ME CAMPAIGN
Ask Me is a real-life project that I contributed to along with team members from Open Quote Creative Agency, where we worked for our client, CORE Apologetics, to develop a campaign targeting Gen-Z. The aim of this campaign was to reach the younger generations with the truth about who Jesus is (highlighted in the name of this specific campaign, Ask Me About Jesus). For this campaign, we developed a logo, brand identity, hand-drawn illustrations, gradients, merchandise, a 180+ page curriculum, a leader guide for the curriculum, social media templates, church slide templates, and email graphic templates.

LITTLE WOMEN
BOOK PROJECT
This book design project required me to design an illustrative soft cover for a book of my choice, of which I chose Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I took one of the most beloved scenes from the story and used that for the inspiration of my front cover. I hand-lettered the title, and I laid out multiple interior pages of the book.

CORE APOLOGETICS
Over the course of two semesters, I worked with my team from Open Quote Creative Agency to complete deliverables for our client, CORE Apologetics. We refreshed their logo, adding more depth and personality to their brand, developed a brand identity, updated photography styles and illustrations, refreshed parts of their website, and built a campaign (Ask Me About Jesus). We also created a CORE journal, social media content, social media templates, and merchandise for CORE Apologetics.
